The Travis Country Twins

This development has been a bit of a hero project for us.

Located in Travis Country, Christchurch there were a couple of set backs with the land zoning. Firstly, Christchurch being the land of the earthquakes the section the two homes were built on is TC3 and then with the new finished floor level requirements we had to get creative. This posed extravagant cantilevers over four car garaging the best option. It also meant we could maximise the spectacular outlook over the reserve and wetlands.

The reserve outlook and neighbouring Travis Wetlands inspired our colour palette and use of different natural textures throughout.

Rhodes designed and installed the bespoke kitchens with a large focus on creating an entertainers space and attention to the finer details. We couldn’t think of a better place to do your dishes than with these views.
